General Patient Appointments

Please remember to bring the following when you come for your appointment/s:
X-rays, MRIs, CT scans and any other relevant investigations.
Appointment cancellation:
Call the office during business hours (9:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
Please cancel at least 1 day ahead so that your appointment time can be allocated to another patient who is seeking treatment.
Late for appointment:
If you are running late, please ring our office and we will endeavour to accommodate you.
It is usual to take 4 to 6 weeks for us to offer a first available appointment, unless you are discharged and referred by hospitals. An allocated time frame will provide but please be aware that there might be a possible delay when Dr Machart is on call or dealing with trauma and elective surgeries.

Payment method:
We accept payments in Cash and EFTPOS.
We accommodate the Medicare Easyclaims program which allows you to claim your Medicare rebate when you pay by EFTPOS.

This means that once your payment/account is settled, your rebate is paid straight back into your bank account immediately.
Please note that this serviceis only applicable when you pay by your EFTPOS card with a saving or cheque account, and not by any Credit card.
Medico-Legal Appointments

Please provide your company name, the name of the person who organise the appointmentand her/his direct phone number.
Have your client/claimant full name, DOB, type of claim (MVA or Workers Compensation, etc.) ready.

Late for appointment:
Cancellation with less than 2 working days’ notice, non-attendance at schedule appointment or unreasonably late attendance by client/claimant or interpreter that prevents full examination being conducted, late cancellation fee under Work Schedule rates will be applied.
